1. Who is responsible for your data?

Elmosa BV, with registered office at Neerveld 4, 1861 Meise, Belgium, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under company number 0685.658.158 (“Elmosa”, “we”), is the controller of the personal data processed through this website. 2. What data do we process?

We only process data that you provide to us yourself or that is technically necessary:

• Via the contact form: your name, organisation, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
• Via email or phone: the information you share with us.
• Technical data (such as IP address and browser type) recorded by our hosting provider to secure the website and keep it running properly.

3. Why, and on what legal basis?

• To answer your question and, if you wish, to prepare a collaboration (pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To communicate with you during an ongoing assignment (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To secure the website and prevent abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. How long do we keep your data?

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Data from the contact form is kept for a maximum of two years after the last contact, unless it leads to a collaboration. In that case, the statutory retention periods apply (for example accounting and tax obligations).

5. Who do we share your data with?

We never sell or rent your data. We only use service providers that help us run the website and email, such as our hosting provider OVHcloud, which processes the data on servers within the European Union. Your data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area.

6. Cookies

This website only uses functional cookies that are necessary for it to work, such as remembering your language choice. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or any other tracking.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict processing, to object to processing and to data portability. You can exercise these rights by emailing tomas [at] elmosa [dot] be. We will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use. The website is only accessible via an encrypted connection (https).
